Opinion: San Antonio can end child abuse

Every child in San Antonio deserves a safe home and a real chance to thrive. This is not just a wish. It is a goal we can actually reach if we choose to act. Child abuse is not an unsolvable problem. It is a preventable crisis that we have allowed to persist for too long.

The numbers tell a painful story. Too many children in Bexar County suffer from neglect, physical abuse, and emotional trauma each year. These are not just statistics.
