‘THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 3’ TRAILER INTRODUCES RED’S BIGGEST MISSION: PARENTING THREE KIDS

‘THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 3’ TRAILER INTRODUCES RED’S BIGGEST MISSION: PARENTING THREE KIDS

Red has battled green pigs, protected Bird Island and saved the day more than once. Now he's facing the one challenge he can't solve by getting angry: parenting three hyperactive baby birds. The first trailer for "The Angry Birds Movie 3" dropped this week, and it shows the famously irritable red bird completely out of his depth.

The clip opens with Red trying to maintain order in a nest that's anything but quiet. His three new charges bounce off the walls, launch themselves into furniture and generally cause the kind of chaos that would make even the most patient bird lose his feathers. Red's signature scowl returns, but this time it's mixed with exhaustion and confusion.

The trailer hints that the babies have powers of their own, which complicates Red's usual approach of yelling and throwing things. Chuck and Bomb make appearances, offering unhelpful advice and making things worse. The animation looks sharper than previous entries, with more detail in the feathers and backgrounds.

While the plot remains under wraps, the trailer suggests the movie will explore themes of responsibility and found family. Red must learn that some problems require patience instead of anger. The film is set for release next summer, with the original voice cast expected to return.
